How we Train:

"CrossFit delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general and inclusive.  Our specialty is not specializing.  Combat, survival, many sports and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist." 

"Eat Meats and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.  Keep intake to levels that support exercise but not body fat.  Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C & J and snatch.  Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, handstands, pirouettes, flips, splits and holds.  Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.  Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow.  Routine is the enemy.  Keep workouts short and intense.  Regularly learn and play new sports."

*Use a 45lb KB for turkish get-ups and a 45lb bar for Sotts Press*

*Sotts press is done in a full squat.  Place a bar on the shoulders behind the neck, squat and hold it, press the bar overhead to full lockout for 1 rep.  Hold the squat for as many reps as possible*

Overhead Walking Lunges (Each step counts)

***Use KB for Overhead Lunge weight...once you start there is a 3 burpee penalty every time the KB touches the ground at any point during the workout.  You can rest with the KB in your hands, but if it touches the ground there is a 3 burpee penalty.***
