How we Train:

"CrossFit delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general and inclusive.  Our specialty is not specializing.  Combat, survival, many sports and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist." 

"Eat Meats and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.  Keep intake to levels that support exercise but not body fat.  Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C & J and snatch.  Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, handstands, pirouettes, flips, splits and holds.  Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.  Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow.  Routine is the enemy.  Keep workouts short and intense.  Regularly learn and play new sports."

"Deck WOD"

Aces=1/4 mi run/row

Hearts=squats

Clubs=push-ups

Diamonds=Sit-ups

Spades=Double-unders

*Cards will be drawn from a standard deck. Exercises will be assosciated with the suits and reps will be the number drawn (face cards are 10).  We will work through an entire deck (84 reps/exercise and 1 mi run).*

Great Job everyone that made it through the Deck WOD!!! you all worked Very Hard!!!

Having trouble with your writing assignment???  Read B's blog for help...and don't forget they are due Wednesday!!!  Plus here are 3 tips for eating better on Thanksgiving!!!

1.  Find healthy substitutes for unhealthy items.  Use your resources!!!  Google zone recipes or websites that have options.

2.  Spread the meal throughout the day.  Why just fill up once and spike your blood sugar???  Enjoy the day more by spreading smaller portions throughout the day.

3.  Have a dessert...but just one serving.
